Privacy Policy

Summary

ilovi is a service for writing and sharing private digital love letters. We collect only what we need to make the service work: the content of the letter you write, the photos you upload, the song you choose, and an email address if you create an account. Letters are private to the recipient by default and are not indexed publicly.

What we collect

• Letter content: the text, photos, song selection, and hidden surprise you add when creating a letter.
• Account data: if you register as a sender, your email address and a hashed password.
• Technical data: anonymized analytics about page loads, device class, and country, used to fix bugs and improve the product.

How we store it

Letter content is stored encrypted at rest on a third-party cloud host. Photos are stored on a separate object storage service. Each letter has a unique private URL and is not listed in any directory or search index. We do not sell or rent your data to advertisers.

Third parties

• Google Fonts — serves the script fonts. May log your IP per Google’s own policy.
• Music CDNs — stream the soundtrack you select. No personalised data is shared.
• Hosting and storage providers — store letter content and assets.
• Google AdSense — Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting the Google Ads Settings page.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your letters, or close your account at any time by emailing eldhopaulsoe125@gmail.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
